What musical starts out with a patriotic flare and ends the same way? What show takes you from the Charleston to under the disco ball? What makes you remember some of the greatest fads like poodle skirts, hula hoops and the slinky? It can all be summed up in one word - Americana. "Americana" will be playing at the Willow Valley Resort August 1 and 2, dinner theatre style, hosted by none other than our own Uncle Sammy and Miss Liberty. Americana is the perfect Summer musical for everyone in your whole family! As we take our musical voyage through 100 years of American music, you will laugh, reminisce and most of all, be proud to be an American! Join our eight professional performers as we go back in time to enjoy the Smooth 1940's, the Rockin' 1950's, the Happy 1960's, the Electric 1970's and many, many more musical hits. Some to surely tug at your heartstrings.

The Property Services Team works hard to make the landscape at the Resort have great curb appeal year 'round. Our busiest time of year is of course Spring! Our team consists of 9 full-time team members and 5 part-time team members.
Each Spring we eagerly wait for a colorful display of tulips to bloom. Usually they are in peak bloom by the second week of April. They are a great complement to the numerous cherry, crabapple and other Spring flowering trees on the resort grounds.
After the tulip blossoms start to fade, we begin preparing the landscape beds for our Summer annuals. The outside flowerbeds and planters use 256 flats of annuals which equal 2,560 four-inch pots. We also design 40 beautiful hanging baskets located throughout the Resort & Conference Center area.
Leading up to these busy weeks in May, we completed a number of services including bed clean up, cutting back overgrown shrubs and perennials, bed edging and mulching. Attention is also given to the turf. Pre-treating with weed control along with a fertilizer application helps promote healthy turf.
In keeping with our tradition of providing our guests the most up-to-date service and products, Willow Valley is currently in the middle of renovating all of the Centre Building Guest Rooms. The rooms will be getting new carpet, wall coverings, window dressings, bedding, showers, granite counter tops and 32" plasma TVs with a new in-room entertainment feature offering access to On Demand movies, internet service, hotel bill preview and check-out services - all from your room.
The project began in late February and will be completed by May 23rd with all 126 rooms being remodeled. We hope you enjoy the new look!
Beginning this Summer, we will have some additional outdoor amenities and activities including a new gazebo by the pond as well as a new fire pit. Our activities team will be leading s'mores roasts, sing-a-longs and other activities by the fire! Please visit our website for more information on a completion date.
We have received many suggestions from our guests about our wagon rides, so beginning this Summer, we will be offering a new wagon ride and farm tour. Keep an eye on our website for more information.
We have been working diligently on developing a program to reward our loyal guests and we need your help. We would like your feedback on what type of rewards would most interest you - free room upgrades, meals, local attraction tickets, golf, bakery items, etc. Please email your suggestions to info@willowval.com. We are looking to have a new program in place sometime this summer.
