Junior Golf 2012:

       We continue to work on the junior golf program at willow Valley to create a program that will provide solid instruction at an affordable price. This years program is designed to be flexible to the participants and parents to meet the very busy schedules of the summer months.

There will be 3 individual sessions through the summer and the junior may participate in 1 or all of the sessions. Each session will have a unique objective , but the basic skill items will remain consistent for each. The program is open to juniors of the ages 8 to 15 and it is reccommended for those in the beginning stages of learning the game. Juniors who are more advanced may participate but they should consider an individual program where more advanced methods will be taught.

The programs will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants, but if you register for the first session you will be given priority for the future sessions. Discounts will be available for multiple sessions, so consider reserving your spot for 2012 by 2 methods:

1) Contact The Golf Shop at 717-464-4448 and register your golfer or

2) E-mail mversuk@zoominternet.net and provide name – age and which session you wish to register for and your spot will be secure.

We wish this to be easy and fun so no need for any deposits , simply pay when you show up for the secheduled session . Parents are encouraged to also stay for the session and offer their assistance , and perhaps if you pay close attention you may pick up a helpful hint for improvement of your own game. The program dates and info are as follows:

Clinic #1 ; Friday  June 29th   9am until noon .. Willow Valley putting green.  Course will cover : Basic instruction..specific chipping from around the green and a competition with prizes.  Some on course time with specific chip shots.

Clinic #2 ; Friday  July 20th    9 am until noon.. Willow Valley putting green.  Course will cover : Basic instruction..specific putting from various angles and positions and a competition with prizes… Some on course play time.

Clinic #3 ; Friday  August 10th  9 am until noon .. Willow Valley Golf Shop..Course will cover : Basics and Full shot swing from teeing ground.. oncourse play with pro on a 4 hole set up event for fun and prizes.

COST FOR CLINICS: The basic cost is $50 for each individual clinic.  A discount of 10% will be given for those who register for multiple clinics . And for those who participate in all three sessions the price will be = $125.

Note: For this season we are offering a special membership for the junior golfer… It is an unlimited walking membership for juniors 17 and under for only $299.00. This is an excellent membership for the avid junior golfer who wishes to get a lot of play time in during the season on a well conditioned course that offers a variety of skill shots from many lies. If your junior enjoys the game and likes to play , this is a great deal. For juniors 10 and under the requirement is that they must be accompanied by an adult when playing.
